League Lore

Fantasy football weekly recaps for Sleeper leagues

League Lore drafts a weekly recap from your Sleeper league’s results. You pick the week, edit the draft, and publish a link the league can read. Free during the 2026 beta.

How it works

  1. Create an account and enter your Sleeper username. League Lore finds the leagues on that account. It never asks for your Sleeper password.
  2. Choose a league. If it is not on League Lore yet, connecting it makes you the owner and lead editor.
  3. Pick the season and week. League Lore drafts the recap from that week’s Sleeper results. With AI commentary on, it writes the opener, the notes on each matchup, the standings, and the close. You can edit any section before it is published.
  4. The lead editor publishes a link. Public and unlisted links open in a browser. A private league stays off the public web.

What’s in a recap

Read the sample report from the fictional Maple Street league. It shows the layout. The managers and scores there are made up.

A weekly draft draws from that week’s results:

  • The masthead and the week’s edition
  • An opener
  • Week at a glance: median, high score, low score, and average margin
  • Each matchup and the margin
  • Awards for the week’s high scores and the low scores
  • Standings, with the league’s record and points
  • From week 8 until the playoffs, a playoff picture: who is in the field and who is on the bubble
  • The biggest win and the closest game
  • A closer
  • This week in history, when the league has a lore note for that week

Power rankings

Power rankings are a section you turn on. They stay off until you enable them. The ranking blends combined winning percentage, all-play winning percentage, points scored, and that week’s scoring rank, and it shows the move against the standings.

Standings are in the recap by default. Simulated playoff odds are separate: The Book keeps them, and a broadsheet issue can chart them week by week. They are not a line in every recap.

For commissioners

You choose the week, the voice, and which sections run. AI commentary is on by default in the editor. Turn it off and the recap still fills in the scores, standings, and a stock opener and close. Contributors can draft. The lead editor publishes. Whoever connects a new league starts as its owner and lead editor, and can hand those roles on.

The 2026 season is free. Nothing is sold in the app. League Lore reads public league data from Sleeper and is not affiliated with Sleeper.

FAQ

Is League Lore free?

Yes, during the 2026 public beta. Nothing is sold in the app, and subscriptions are not available to purchase.

Does it work for dynasty and keeper leagues?

Yes. League Lore reads the league type Sleeper publishes — redraft, keeper, or dynasty — and builds the weekly recap, the standings, and the record book from that league’s public results.

Do leaguemates need the app?

No, not to read a published recap. A public or unlisted link opens in the browser. The iOS app is in TestFlight for members who want the hub, the clubhouse, and the rest of the league. Private leagues stay off the public web.
